Project Safe is a program of prevention and intervention activities, including support and advocacy, to reduce the incidence of sexual assault, relationship violence and stalking on the CSULB campus.
This is a collaborative coordinated program of the CSULB Women's Resource Center, Interval House Domestic Violence Services and the YWCA GLA Sexual Assault Crisis Services - together with other campus and community organizations, including the CSULB Student Health Center/Health Resource Center, University Police, Counseling and Psychological Services, and the Office of the Dean of Students
The mission is realized by:
TELLING PEOPLE about the different kinds of violence and how they affect you and your friends and families - raising awareness of the issues.
SUPPORTING students in exploring your own experiences, and feeling safe about doing so.
MAINTAINING an information 'bank' and making materials available, including online links to both resources and information.
FOSTERING an attitude of zero tolerance and zero indifference toward all forms of violence on campus and in the community.
PRESENTING educational programs to classes, organizations and departments on campus.
This website has been designed so you will have reliable resources and accurate information for making informed decisions about your safety and well-being. And...
