About the Women's Resource Center

  • Envisions women's full participation in all aspects of society—including an educational environment free from biases of economics, ethnicity, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, physical limitations, life style choices, age, re-entry status and academic fields of study.
  • Committed to assisting women in accessing their educational, professional, and personal growth through a diverse and interactive program of services, advocacy, and education.
  • Provides an ongoing support system for women's efforts; a forum for exploration and education on issues of importance and interest; campus and community resource referrals to assist in achieving their ends; and the modeling of leadership skills that utilize consensus, egalitarian, inclusive and empowering decision-making tools.
