The Students Veterans Center offers assistance with applying for education benefits. The following educational benefits are available to veterans and dependents:

 

How do I get Certified

Benefit certification is the most important mission of our office.Any changes to your academic plan need to be coordinated with the School Certifying Official immediately. Listed below are the steps that need to be followed:

    • Fill out the forms with respect to the chapter you are applying for. The required forms are as listed in the table below for new and returning or transfer students.

Correct File Number

    • Fill out the Request for Enrollment Certification For VA Benefits form here.This form has to be filled for every semester for continuing students.
    • Fill out the Add or Drop form for any adjustments made after the Request for Enrollment Certification has been submitted here.
    • If requesting certification for courses taken at another instituition fill the Request for Parent School Letter form here.
    • Submit an Academic plan developed by an advisor of your department.
    • Fill out a Student Responsibility form (except CalVet fee waiver) here.

Veterans Benefits Online - VONAPPVONAPP (Veterans On Line Application) website is an official U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) website that enables service members, veterans and their beneficiaries, and other designated individuals to apply for benefits using the Internet. Web Automated Verification of Enrollment W.A.V.E (Web Automated Verification of Enrollment) Chapter 30 and 1606 students may certify their monthly enrollment with WAVE. To apply online click here.
