Welcome to Veterans University, California State University's student veterans advocacy office. Our office performs the following services:
Last semester we experienced a tremendous amount of turmoil with the new Post-911 GI Bill. We anticipate more of the same spring semester so please pay close attention to your student accounts and payments made by the VA. We recommend tracking your accounts and double checking the VA's calculations.
I strongly encourage all veterans to join VetNet, our student organization. Statistics show that students who assimilate to campus life by developing associations with like-minded students or faculty members have a higher degree of success.
Finally, our office is not a traditional CSULB office. We employ two fulltime staff and four work study students who serve over 400 veterans and 350 dependents of veterans here on campus. Let us know when you need assistance but be patient as we have hundreds of non-student inquiries each week.
I look forward to meeting you!
