Education:
Phillip Humphreys obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and a Master of Arts in Social Science at Humboldt State University.
Because of his commitment to meeting the needs of first-generation, low-income, under-represented students, Phillip Humphreys has served in various positions throughout his professional career in student services. Currently, the Associate Director of Upward Bound, he has also served as the Assistant Director/Counselor of EOP and Coordinator of the Summer Bridge program at CSULB. He serves as part of the management team, which is composed of various state and federal programs, including Educational Opportunity Program, Student Support Services, Upward Bound, EIS/Talent Search, McNair Scholars and CAMP. Overall, these programs serve more than 4,000 students.
