Academic Year Services
Tutorial Sessions
Upward Bound offers 20 tutorial sessions a year; 10 in the fall
semester and 10 in the spring semester. The purpose of the sessions
is to provide the students with tutoring services in any subject
in which they may need assistance. A homework room is also provided
for students so they have the opportunity to study and complete
their assignments in a studious environment.
Workshops
Upward Bound offers various workshops throughout the academic year.
The purpose of the workshops is to enhance the student's intellect
academically and culturally. Some examples of the workshops are
as follows:

Field Trips
Upward Bound offers various field trips throughout the academic
year. The purpose of the field trips is to provide the students
with new experiences. Some examples of field trips are as follows:
- Athletic Events
- College Fairs
- College Tours
- Historical Sites
- Multicultural
- Museums
- Theater Events
