Encourage students to research college and university admission requirements.
Find out what grades they'll need to be eligible for the college of their
choice and if the college has any entrance exams. This information

Apply
Planning and preparing is only part of getting into college. Applying
online is fast and easy. The CSULB application filing period is October
1 – November 30 for the following fall. Students cannot apply
early to CSULB; however, when they complete the
CSU
Mentor High-School Planner, the information is transferred to their
online application.

Scholar's Program
This prestigious program, the first of its kind in the state, provides California residents who are qualifying high school valedictorians
from accredited high schools or National Merit Finalists and Semifinalists, National Achievement and National Hispanic Recognition scholars,
the opportunity to compete for an exceptional scholarship package.

Young Scholars Program
The Young Scholars Program provides an opportunity for high-school students to
take courses for college credit at CSULB.
Participants of the program have gone
on to prestigious universities, such as UCLA, UC Berkeley, California
Institute of Technology, University of Michigan and to the President’s
Scholars Program at CSULB.
