Similar to a scholarship, it is free to admitted students.
Unfortunately, Summer Bridge is currently a residential program only.
Summer Bridge includes a very strict and busy schedule. We are unable to accommodate students’ work schedules during the four-week program.
Students will take three courses during the program – math, English and EOP 100. With a passing grade in EOP 100, students will earn two units of college credit.
Summer Bridge includes class time and enrichment activities in the evenings and on the weekends. There will be designated times that students may leave campus, depending on the schedule. However, on Sunday’s (excluding the first Sunday of the program), students are always free to go home, but must return by the designated time.
EOP students will be selected to attend SBP based on their academic need and available program space. We carefully review EPT/ELM and SAT or ACT scores to determine which students would most benefit from this program. The number of students selected varies from one year to another.
Yes, students may bring their cars and will be given a campus parking permit.
All Summer Bridge students will attend SOAR on a designated date. For summer 2009, all participants should register for the July 17 date.
