The Summer Bridge Program is for first-time freshmen who have been admitted to California State University, Long Beach and to the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP).
EOP students will be selected to attend the Summer Bridge Program based on their academic need and available program space. We carefully review the English Placement Test and Entry Level Mathematics test EPT/ELM (to be considered for Summer Bridge you must take the EPT and ELM by the March 14 test date) and SAT or ACT scores to determine which students would most benefit from this program. Learn more about CSULB EPT/ELM information.
If you are selected to attend the Summer Bridge Program, you will receive an acceptance letter and an application packet.
Please note that all students who have committed to participate in the Summer Bridge Program will also be required to attend a MANDATORY orientation with their parent(s) or guardian.
