By participating in TRiO Student Support Services Program, students may:
- receive comprehensive academic/career counseling services.
- participate in preparatory workshops for the Writing Proficiency Exam (WPE).
- receive personal writing skills instruction.
- take supplemental instruction courses to develop successful study skills.
- receive financial aid application assistance.
- experience an educational excursion and involvement in cultural events.
- have access to a computer lab, resource books, and free printing.
- take advantage of the laptop loan program.
- obtain supplemental Pell Grant monies.
- join the SSSP Student Council and experience leadership and campus involvement.
- participate in a mentor program for coordinated peer support.
- receive free tutoring services.
