BECOME PART OF THE TRADITION
During the week of October 5, 2009, the California State University, Long Beach Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Resource Center will run a full-page ad in the campus newspaper for National Coming Out Week with the following introduction:
We are students, professors, coworkers, roommates, teammates, alumni/ae, friends, and family, and we are just a few of the intelligent, creative, and supportive lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning individuals - or heterosexual allies of LGBT individuals - who are part of the diverse Cal State Long Beach community. We invite you to join us in celebrating National Coming Out Week.
Following this statement will appear hundreds of names of LGBT or ally students, faculty, staff, and alumni who have chosen to be on CSULB’s 2009 OUTlist.
It’s free for students to add their names to the OUTlist.
If faculty, staff, and alumni are able, a donation of $5 to help offset the cost of the full-page ad is appreciated. Please make checks payable to “CSULB LGBT Resource Center.”
