The purpose of National Coming Out Week (NCOW) is to provide awareness and education on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) issues. NCOW will be a three day event providing the campus community with various workshops ranging from sex health education, LGBT issues revolving around professional environments, and spirituality and LGBT issues. NCOW will conclude with a resource fair providing the campus community with LGBT-focused and LGBT-friendly organizations, both on-campus and off-campus. The concluding resource fair will also include an open-mic session providing students the opportunity to voice their experiences as LGBT persons or as allies to the LGBT community.
