CSULB Counseling and Psychological Services
Counseling and Psychological Services is proud to introduce the Safe Zone Project at CSULB. The Safe Zone is a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) awareness and support program, designed to improve campus climate for this underrepresented community. The program has been implemented on numerous college campuses across the country with tremendous success. Each campus has tailored the program to meet its specific needs.
The Health Resource Center (HRC) can offer additional health information regarding any health topics for all CSULB students. The HRC also offers services and programs to increase health awareness.
National Social Fraternity In Washington, DC, in October 1986, three elderly gentlemen established a trust to create a social fraternity that would not discriminate based on sexual orientation; the donors regretted such an alternative organization did not exist during their formative years. As Trustee, Vernon L. Strickland, III, administered the founding of Delta Lambda Phi National Social Fraternity, creating its crest, selecting its mascot and designing its rituals.
