Partners students "invade" the Walter Pyramid.
Four students won an iPod at the event.
On March 6, more than 240 students from CSULB student organizations and departments attended Invade the Pyramid II, an event that included a pre-game pizza party social to promote community-building and “Beach Spirit” for the men’s basketball team at the Walter Pyramid.
Student Life and Development provided an incentive of $100 for two student organization competitions. The Student Dietetic Association won the “Most Spirited” award and the American Marketing Association won the “Most Members in Attendance” award. Five lucky students were the ecstatic winners of an iPod Shuffle and Nano. The iPods were donated by Douglas Robinson, vice president for student services, who sponsored the event. Event co-sponsors were Student Life and Development, Partners for Success, Athletics, Housing and Residential Life, the Educational Opportunity Program and the Mentoring Business Program.
