The Lois J. Swanson Leadership Resource Center submitted the Leadership Academy program for consideration by the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators for its annual excellence awards competition. NASPA recognizes contributions that are transforming higher education through outstanding programs, innovative services and effective administration. NASPA encourages all universities to enter recently developed and/or longstanding programs and initiatives for consideration for this prestigious award.
The Leadership Academy was selected as the Silver Award winner in the Student Union, Student Activities, Greek Life, Leadership and related programs and services category of the NASPA Excellence Awards. This means the Leadership Academy was designated as second out of a national pool of program entries for this category.
