How to Register

  1. Please fill out the REGISTRATION form and email it electronically to Zion Smith, Coordinator of Student Life and Development (SLD).
  2. Sign the CSULB WAIVER and REBUILDING TOGETHER WAIVER forms and turn them into SLD (USU-215) to complete your registration process.

*NOTE: You must sign and turn in the waiver forms in order to participant for Make a Difference Day.

The registration deadline is October 25th or when filled to capacity

What is Make a Difference Day?

Make A Difference Day is the most encompassing national day of helping others - a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors. Everyone can participate. Created by USA WEEKEND Magazine, Make A Difference Day is an annual event that takes place on the fourth Saturday of every October.

For over 14 consecutive years the CSULB community, students, faculty, staff and friends will make a difference in the Long Beach Community. Over one 100 CSULB volunteers will partner with Rebuilding Together Long Beach to participate in this day of service.

Date and Time

On Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 7:30AM - 5:00PM, all participants must be committed to working hard and completing the day. Don't leave your fellow volunteers short handed as the day goes on.

Location to Make a Difference

The location will be announced towards the event date.

Duties and Responsibilities

Mostly exterior home repairs, painting, and landscaping.
