Scholarships
Scholarship Criteria:
- Must be a continuing CSULB student.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.7
- Submit completed application with Essay
- Submit an unofficial copy of your transcripts
- Must attend Chican@ / Latin@ Graduation Celebration
Essay Criteria:
- Must be 2 – 3 pages in length on the following topic
- Your personal background
- What have you done to empower the Chican@ / Latin@ community at CSULB?
- What do you believe the future holds for the Chican@ / Latin@ community and your involvement in this process?
- Submit completed application and essay to:

Student Speaker
The CLGC invites you to participate in our Speech Contest for this year’s graduation.
Criteria:
- The speech must be a maximum of 5 – 10 minutes long.*
- The speech must incorporate this year’s CLGC theme**
- Candidates must deliver their speech in front of the CLGC committee on April 28th . You will be notified the same night if you have been chosen to present your speech.
- Submit your speech to:

*You are encouraged to incorporate Spanish into your speech.
*The theme for this year’s graduation celebration is:
