Faculty/Staff Registration

The Lavender Graduation Celebration Student Committee would like to invite you, our distinguished CSULB Faculty and Staff, to participate in the 7th Annual Lavender Graduation Celebration to be held on:

  • Monday, May 20, 2013
  • 6:00PM - 8:00PM
  • University Student Union Ballroom

"Lavender Graduation has become this wonderful opportunity for people within and outside of the LGBTQIA community to share this moment of accomplishment and express their individuality with their family, friends, loved ones - their personal allies."

Faculty and Staff participation in the Lavender Graduation Celebration is free of charge. If you are able to join us to celebrate the accomplishments of this year's Lavender Graduates, please complete the following online registration.

Step 2: Stole, Tassel, and Ticket Information

If you would like to purchase a commemorative CSULB Lavender Graduation Stole ($30) and/or Rainbow-colored Tassel ($10), please indicate your order below. Stoles and Tassels may be reused annually. **Stoles and Tassels are available while supplies last. Please order early.

Tickets are needed for guests to attend the Lavender Graduation Celebration. Tickets are $1 each. You may order guest tickets below.

Lavender Stole Stoles are satin-textured, lavender-colored, have "CSULB" embroidered on one side. $30 each
Rainbow Tassel $10 each
Guest Tickets For any additional guests, tickets are needed to attend the Lavender Graduation Celebration. Registered Faculty/Staff do not require tickets. $1 each

Payment and Donations

The Lavender Graduation Celebration is made possible by grants and donations. Monetary donations are always welcome to help assist future Lavender Graduation Celebrations. Your donation will be accepted by and processed through the California State University, Long Beach Foundation, a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 tax exempt organization which may provide tax-deductible advantages to the donor. The CSULB Foundation exists solely to support and advance the mission of California State University, Long Beach. The CSULB Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors in accordance with its Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws, appropriate State of California codes, and applicable policy directives of the CSU Board of Trustees.

For monetary donations or to make payment for Lavender Graduation Stoles, Rainbow Tassels, and/or Tickets please make checks payable to "CSULB LGBT Student Resource Center" and send payment to:

Attire

Faculty/Staff are encouraged but not required to wear regalia (graduation robes). To order regalia for purchase or rental, please contact Chris Ramirez from the Bookstore at chris.ramirez@csulb.edu or 562-985-7737.

Step 3: Confirmation of RSVP

You will receive a confirmation e-mail after submitting this online registration page. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, or if you would like to change your registration information (i.e. stole/tassel order), please contact lavgrad.csulb01@gmail.com
