Student Health Services

Student Health Services provides medical services, preventive health and health education programs to registered students. A highly trained and experienced staff of licensed physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and other healthcare professionals are dedicated to your health and well-being. We are committed to preserving the privacy of your personal health information.

Patients must bring a Government Issued Photo ID or College Photo ID to ALL appointments at the Student Health Services and Health Resource Center. FOR CONTINUITY OF CARE, PLEASE BRING ALL MEDICATIONS YOU ARE TAKING WITH YOU TO YOUR APPOINTMENT.

SHS will be closed on the following holidays in 2014: Fri. July 4; Mon. Sept. 1; Tues. Nov. 11; Thurs. & Fri. Nov. 27 & 28, and Dec. 25, 2014 through Jan. 1, 2015.

Student Health Center Hours*

Appointments are required.

SHS Hours during Spring & Fall semesters (*hours may be different if noted above)

  • Monday: 8am to 6pm
  • Tuesday: 8am to 6pm
  • Wednesday: 10am to 6pm
  • Thursday: 8am to 6pm
  • Friday: 8am to 5pm

  • Note: Same day appointments are available for acute illness and/or injury

Students are to come to SHS 15 minutes prior to appointment time in order to complete paperwork. If you are late more than 10 minutes after your appointment time, you will be rescheduled.

Students are considered “no show” if they are more than ten minutes late and DNKA (Did Not Keep Appointment) is noted in the chart. They are allowed only three DNKAs per academic year (beginning each Fall term). If three DNKAs are noted on the student's chart, the student is not allowed to schedule appointments in advance. They may, however, schedule same day appointments for the remainder of the term.

  • Monday: 9am to 12pm and 1:30pm to 4pm
  • Tuesday: 9am to 12pm and 1:30pm to 4pm
  • Friday: 9am to 12pm and 1:30pm to 4pm

  • Influenza [flu vaccine] FREE for students
  • Tuberculosis Skin Test $2 (CCPE students: $15 for the visit and $2 for TB skin test)
  • Measles/Mumps Rubella (MMR) $57.50
  • Hepatitis A (2 shot series) $25.50 each
  • Hepatitis B (3 shot series) $35.25 each
  • Hepatitis A & B combination (3 or 4 shot series) $55.50 per shot
  • T-DAP (Tetanus, Diptheria, Pertussis - Combined) $34.50
  • Gardasil HPV (3 shot series) $150.75 per shot (By appointment only)
  • Meningitis $113.00
  • TD (per Dr's orders only) $20.00

Current Health Issues of Interest: Norovirus

The norovirus is a virus that causes the stomach flu. Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, and diarrhea. For more information, see the fact sheet about norovirus from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
