Conducts large-scale assessments concerning student characteristics, attitudes, aspirations and college satisfaction; also supports the periodic review of academic administrators process by surveying campus faculty, staff and administrators using questionnaire design to collect and analyze data.
Oversees the CSULB Student Assessment website, which offers the campus community comprehensive data concerning college readiness, freshman characteristics, student satisfaction and academic performance.
Provides pre-collegiate academic enrichment, higher education awareness and outreach services for area middle school students and their parents to increase student college readiness.
Facilitates year-round university access, admissions, financial aid and transition assistance to prospective freshmen, transfer and adult re-entry students.
Sponsors special events and produces marketing tools that showcase the university’s academic programs, distinctions and campus life to prospective students, parents, counselors and other CSULB constituents.
Provides programs, services, facilities and food service in the student-financed University Student Union, which help to create campus community and provide students with a “home away from home” during their academic pursuits.
