Sign up now for the Push Cart Grand Prix! Deadline to apply is Friday, March 27, 2009 in the Beach Pride Center, USU-108.
The Push Cart Grand Prix is an annual event that brings a diverse group of CSULB student organizations together to interact, create friendships, and participate in a push cart race. The Push Cart Grand Prix began as the Muscle 500 at the Beach in 2002 and in 2008 it took the name Push Cart Grand Prix.
All CSULB students with a student identification card are eligible to participate in the races. All CSULB clubs, organizations, and independent student teams are invited to sign up.
Students may register at the Beach Pride Center in the University Student Union, USU-108. Deadline to apply is Friday, March 27, 2009. Please sign up groups of four per organization. There is a $25 registration fee (includes a kit for building the push cart and tires).
The races takes place at the Kaleidoscope Festival between 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Lot 3, in front of the University Student Union.
Sponsoring this years Push Cart Grand Prix is the Student Services Division, Kaleidscope, and Red Bull. Red Bull will be generously providing our three group winners with fantastic prize packages.
Friday, March 27, 2009 - 5:00 p.m. Deadline to sign up for the races in the Beach Pride Center, USU-108.
Friday, April 10, 2009 - 11 A.M. - 12 P.M. (USU-204) Mandatory meeting for all participating organzations. At least one member from each group must be present at this meeting to receive race course rules, regulations, and an outline of the day's event. Prize packages will also be announced at this meeting.
