C ollege readiness and graduation rates among CSULB students have steadily improved in recent years, in spite of the dismal economic landscape that has proven to be so challenging. In 2004, 61 percent CSULB freshmen were college ready in math, compared to 73 percent in 2010. Likewise, college readiness in English was 50 percent, compared to 55 percent in 2010.
Just two short years after it opened, rooms at the Residential Learning College at Long Beach State are highly sought after by CSULB’s residential students.
To assist CSULB students in their quest for financial stability, the Center for Scholarship Information hosts a database of more than 600 scholarships.
Following a move to Student Services, the Multicultural Center seeks to provide a positive support system that will encourage the creation of a more vibrant campus community.
