Most patients coming to the SHS for a free pregnancy test receive pregnancy options counseling while waiting to receive their results. This short counseling session provides the patient with unbiased information about reproductive health, including:
Patients with a positive pregnancy test result are given referrals for all options.
If a patient wishes to become pregnant, preconception care information can be provided as well.
