Spring 2008 EOP Calendar

January 27: Deadline to drop or withdraw from all classes and
receive full refund for fees and tuition

February 10: Deadline to drop or withdraw from all classes using MyCSULB without receiving a “W” grade.

February 18: President’s Day- campus open

February 22: Deadline to add courses, file CR/NC or Audit grade options with a $10 late fee

February 23: Writing Proficiency Exam (register by Feb.1)

February 28: Engineering, Science & Technology Job Fair, USU, 12:00- 4:00 p.m.

March 1: Deadline to File Request to Graduate for Fall 2008/Winter 2009

March 2: FAFSA renewal deadline (This includes EOP grant)

March 6: “Invade the Pyramid Night”, Men’s Basketball vs. Cal Poly SLO: Pizza party 6:15 PM, Game 7:05 PM, The Walter Pyramid (Tickets in the EOP Office)

March 17: Summer 2008 Registration begins

March 20: Spring Job & Internship Fair, USU, 12:00- 4:00 p.m.

March 31: Cesar Chavez Holiday-campus closed
Spring Recess Begins- no instruction

April 1-30: Freshmen meet with EOP counselors to complete Mandatory Freshman Advising (MFA) contracts for Fall 2007

April 1-4: Spring Recess- no instruction, campus open

April 7: Fall 2008 Registration begins

April 17: Ready for hire Job Fair, USU, 12:00-4:00 PM

April 18: Writing Proficiency Exam (register by March 28)

April 25: Deadline: drop a course without college dean’s signature

May 6: EOP Graduate Recognition Day, The Pointe in the Walter Pyramid, 12:00 PM -1:30 PM

May 16:

  • Last day of instruction
  • Deadline to drop a course with college dean’s signature
  • Final Examinations

May 28-30: Commencement Ceremonies
