The Special Admission process is a means by which California Residents, who may not meet the regular admission requirements due to a disability but are "otherwise qualified", may appeal for special consideration by the Admissions Office at California State University Long Beach (CSULB). The Stephen Benson Program (SBP) facilitates this process by providing additional information about the applicant's circumstances to the Admissions Office. It is our function to evaluate documentation of the learning disability using guidelines established by the California State University system. Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Admission decisions are made by the Admissions Office.
