There is an ongoing process on the CSULB campus of evaluating architectural barriers and recommending changes to the Physical Planning and Facilities Management Office. The goal of a completely accessible campus is very close to being achieved.
An accessible computer lab is available, designed specifically for the needs of students with disabilities. The Alternative Media and Braille Transcription Center is located in the High Tech Center.
For students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, we provide sign language interpretors, captioners and notetakers.
Mobility orientation of the campus is available to show the most accessible routes around campus.
Note-takers will be provided for students who have difficulty taking notes for themselves.
Parking spaces are available for the convenience of permanently and temporarily disabled students, faculty and staff. Applications must be made through the Disabled Student Services Office.
