Faculty Handbook: High Tech Center

The High Tech Center provides access to adaptive computer equipment and access devices for CSULB students with disabilities. The center's staff members are trained in the use of adaptive technology and access devices, as well as many popular software applications used in academic courses and the open campus computer labs. The High Tech Center is located in LA5 - room 173.

Services offered at the High Tech Center include the following:

  • Instruction on the use of adaptive equipment and access devices
  • Assistance in the use of production software applications
  • Conversion of print materials to Literary Braille Transcription and Book Binding
  • Assistance in editing writing assignments for course work
  • Preparation assistance for the Writing Proficiency Exam
