Long Beach competes competitively against most UC and CSU system schools. The team takes pride in hard work and representing Long Beach State on and off the rink with teamwork and integrity. We won the coveted Division I championship in 2011 and are looking forward to winning another in the near future. Ultimate frisbee is a game in which two teams use a plastic disc to score goals. Using a combination of skill and strategy, players pass the frisbee to each other across the field to get to the end zone. Meanwhile, the opposing team will be running around trying to swat or intercept the frisbee so that they can gain possession of the frisbee and try to score goals.
