We will be awarding 55 scholarships to eligible high school seniors who will attend college during the 2009-2010 academic year: 22 scholarships of $1,000 to attend a community college and $2,000 to attend a four-year university/college. To apply, complete the application form, respond to the essay question written on the application, attach a set of your unofficial transcripts, then submit these items for review. Were you the recipient of a Cal-SOAP scholarship in 2008? If so, you can apply for the Cal-SOAP College Access Renewal Scholarship to fund your next year of college. We will be awarding 20 scholarships of $1,000 to selected individuals who will continue their education at a community college and 10 scholarships of $2,000 to selected individuals who will continue their education at a 4-year college/university.
