Cal-SOAP has compiled a list of summer college preparation and career programs for high school students. Participation in any of these summer programs is a great way to spend your summer vacation productively and to get a head start on preparing for your future after high school. For the first time, AB 540 eligible students will be able to apply for state-funded student financial aid and private scholarships administered by California’s publicly-funded colleges and universities. Beginning in January of 2013, these same students, including eligible high school seniors, will also be able to apply for Cal Grants.
