Belmont Shore-Naples Scavenger Hunt

Location: Belmont Shore and Naples Island

Cost: Free

Info: Discover more in Belmont Shore and Naples by playing in the FREE Belmont Shore & Naples Scavenger Hunt. Pick up a Scavenger Hunt game form at any of the participating businesses starting April 1st and let the adventure begin! Collect stickers from as many businesses as you can by solving a clue at each one - then you'll be entered to win one of hundreds of prizes. With prizes including a $250 cash grand prize, and $10 - $100 gift certificates to 2nd street restaurants and shops, you are sure to have a good time while enjoying some of the best of Belmont Shore.

1st Fridays Long Beach

Time(s): First Friday of every month; 6:00pm-10:00pm

Location: Atlantic Ave between Bixby Road and San Antonio Drive

Info: Every first Friday night of the month, participating Bixby Knolls businesses will unite to promote local artists and musicians through extended operating hours. In doing so we hope to encourage a dialogue between businesses, artists and the community. 2nd Saturday Art Walk

Time(s): Second Saturday of every month; 4:00pm-10:00pm

Location: Downtown Long Beach East Village Arts District

Cost: Free

Info: The Art Walk takes place around the streets of Ocean Blvd, Linden Ave, 1st Street, Broadway and Elm. Local art galleries and retail businesses such as gift shops, boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops stay open until late evening. Linden Avenue is closed to traffic and transformed into a street art fair by local artists. Two stages are dedicated to street performances and live music. Anyone is welcome. Parking is available in nearby structures and parking lots for about $4.00/day or free by chance on nearby streets. www.artwalklb.com

Downtown Walking Tours

Time(s): Every third Saturday from 10:00am-11:30am

Location: Meet at 3rd and Promenade

Info: Long Beach Heritage is proud to announce our Walking Tour Program to help foster preservation advocacy and education throughout Long Beach. Tours occur on the 3rd Saturday of every month starting in front of the WPA Mural at the north end of the Promenade at 3rd Street. Free parking at 3rd & Promenade parking structure until noon. Each tour lasts approximately 1-1/2 hours and covers about 1-1/2 miles. Moderate walking difficulty. Tickets available through Paypal, $10 per person. 30 Minute Beach Cleanup

Location: Meet at 1 Granada Avenue

Harbor Tours

Walk for Kids 2014

Info: The Long Beach Ronald McDonald House Walk for Kids is a 5K (3.1 mile) walk that is designed to raise funds and awareness for the services and programs provided by the House. 8th Annual Cambodian New Year Parade

Location: E. Anaheim Street between Junipero and Warren Avenues

Info: After two years hiatus due to lack of funding, the Cambodian Coordinating Council (Cam-CC) will resume hosting its annual Cambodian New Year Parade. The parade will start at 10:00 a.m. on Anaheim Street at the Junipero Avenue intersection and end at MacArthur Park located between Warren Avenue and Mahanna Avenue on Anaheim Street.
