The University Student Union (USU) has utilized the Educational Benchmark Institute (EBI) assessment tool, which is provided by the Association of College Union International, as its primary customer satisfaction assessment for the past seven years. In 2005, the USU conducted a Recreational Needs Assessment, which eventually led to the passage of a Student Recreation and Wellness Center referendum. In addition, the USU conducted several assessments of learning outcomes, including a student programming training workshop, in the 2008-2009 academic year. Finally, the USU has also utilized additional survey and assessment tools over the years to gauge CSULB students satisfaction with services and programs. A brief description of each of these and relevant findings can be found in the links we have provided on this website.
