EBI Assessment: The University Student Union has participated in both the paper and web version of the assessment tool. While standardized for national benchmarking with other institutions, portions of the tool have also been customized for the CSULB USU. The instrument is administered annually in the spring semester. Last year, over 3500 students were sampled via email and the USU received an 18% response rate. Results from this survey, showed the USU improved in all factors of this survey for the first time since the implementation of the EBI tool.
