EFFECTIVE DATE: Spring Semester - January 23, 2002
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: M.A. in Public Administration or Social Sciences. The applicant must have the ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community.
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Specialty in leadership development or organizational leadership. Minimum of two years experience, training or teaching Latino development or Latino organizational leadership. Experience in training or leadership development through event planning and organization. Adequate bilingual communication skills to explain and interpret Spanish-language sources to English speakers.
DUTIES: The appointee will teach CHLS 490 "Latino Leadership Development and Organizations."
SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with training and experience; probable range $528-$632 per 3-unit course in six monthly installments.
