MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: MA in Anthropology or appropriate related field. Potential for teaching effectiveness. Applicants must state which subjects they are prepared to teach, and indicate their qualifications to do so. Ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community.

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: ABD or PhD in Anthropology or appropriate related field and college teaching experience. Preference is given to applicants best suited to teach the course(s) available. Preference for evidence of successful CSU teaching.

DUTIES: Teach graduate and/or undergraduate courses in Socio-cultural anthropology, linguistics, physical anthropology and archaeology.

SALARY RANGE:  Commensurate with training and experience. Probable range for one 3-unit course is $528 to $797 per six monthly installments.
