EFFECTIVE DATE:    Spring 2002 (January 23-May 31, 2002)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Minimum of Master's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education or closely related field. Ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  One degree in Family and Consumer Sciences desirable. College teaching experience desirable.  Ph.D. desirable.

DUTIES:  Teach undergraduate courses in teaching-learning strategies, computer application, methods of teaching, and graduate courses in curriculum, evaluation, administration, history, philosophy and trends and issues in Family and Consumer Sciences.  Supervision of student teachers.  Develop instructional activities in Family & Consumer Sciences Communication/Education consistent with the area and department's objectives. Additional duties as determined or assigned by the area coordinator or department chair.

SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications
