POSITION: Part-time position available for instruction within the Consumer Affairs option in Family and Consumer Sciences EFFECTIVE DATE: Spring 2002 (January 23-May 31, 2002) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of Master's degree in Consumer Affairs or closely related field. Ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: One degree in Family and Consumer Sciences desirable. College teaching experience desirable. Ph.D. desirable. DUTIES: Teach undergraduate courses in Consumer Affairs, (Consumer Advocacy, Personal Financial Management, and/or Housing Services). Develop instructional activities in Consumer Affairs consistent with the area and department's objectives. Additional duties as determined or assigned by the area coordinator or department chair. SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION: Letter of application; current up-to-date resume including the names and addresses of three individuals from whom letters of recommendation may be requested; official transcript from institution awarding highest degree (sent directly to individual listed below). A SC-1 Form will be provided by department. Employment is contingent upon proof of the legal right to work in the United States. This proof must be provided prior to employment at the university.
