1. I installed Contribute2, what do I do next?

After you have installed Contribute2 you will need to load your Department's Contribute Key file. Please refer our Contribute2 Tutorial for step by step instructions for loading the key file. If you do not have your Department's Contribute Key file please fill out our Service Request form and we will send you the key file.

Once the key file is loaded into Contribute2 you are ready to begin updating your web site. Basic Instructions for update your web site can be found in our Contribute2 Tutorial. If you need for information about using Contribute2 than is given in our tutorial please contact us by emailing us at aa-webmaster@csulb.edu and we will assist you.




2. How do I get access to update my Department's web site?

If you need access to update your Department's web site please fill out our Service Request form and we will begin the process of setting you up with Contribute2 and your Department's Contribute2 Key file.




3. The information on a web page is incorrect who do I contact to get it fixed?

If you find information that is incorrect on a web site please email us at aa-webmaster@csulb.edu and we will forward the request to the appropriate Content Manager. Please include a link to the page(s) along with a detailed description of what is incorrect.




4. Is there any time when I cannot work on my Department's web site?

Maintenance with be preformed on the Template on Friday afternoons between 3:00pm and 5:00pm. We asked that you make sure that you have checked-in all your pages during this time. We also recommend that you do not update any pages during this time due to a possibility that the changes will be lost during the update. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us by sending us an email at aa-webmaster@csulb.edu.




5. How do I get Contribute2 on my computer?

If you would like Contribute2 installed on your computer please fill out our Service Request form and we will contact you about getting Contribute2 on your computer.




6. I filled out a Service Request when will my request be process?

If you fill out a Service Request you should be contacted either by email or phone within 24-hours (except weekends and holidays). If you are not contacted within 24 hours please contact us via email at aa-webmaster@csulb.edu and we will assist you with your request.




7. How do I make a change to my site's menu?

At this time Content Managers do not have the ability to edit the menu. To make a change to the menu you must fill out a Service Request and we will make the change for you. Currently we are testing a way for select Content Managers to have access to change the menu. If you are interested in having this access please contact us via email at aa-webmaster@csulb.edu and we will work with you get to it set up on your site.
