The University Center for Undergraduate Advising (UCUA) provides general advising for new and continuing CSULB students. Professional academic advisors are available for quick questions and 30-minute individual appointments.
The University Center for Undergraduate Advising is the "home base" for all CSULB undeclared students, including signature authority on University related documents.
Students with questions about their major requirements should contact their college or departmental advisors.
The Center operates on an appointment basis, however, current CSULB students are welcome to walk-in for quick questions. We also offer workshops to meet a variety of current CSULB students' needs. Please call us at (562) 985-4837 and follow the prompts to speak to someone for appointment information.

Other than the above closures, advising for continuing CSULB students is available Monday - Friday from 8:30 - 11 AM.
We close daily from 11:30 AM - 1 PM
Advising for Fall 2013 freshmen and transfer students is available in the afternoons at SOAR.
Regular hours resume on Monday, August 19, 2013.
Exception - The UCUA will be closed all day on: Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5, 2013.
