The LAC is the university’s most comprehensive learning support resource, offering students assistance in nearly any learning-related area.
The Writer's Resource Lab (WRL) is CSULB's writing center, offering personalized tutorials to CSULB students at all levels. WRL tutors teach students to become more effective and independent writers so they can effectively evaluate, edit, and proofread their own essays and papers successfully.
The WRL website includes a number of handouts to help writers complete various types of assignments, such as abstracts, book reviews and different types of essays.

The Hauth Center is a full-service Center offering professional support and communication skills resources to students, faculty, and community residents and business leaders.
They can help individuals become more effective public speakers, conversationalists, or group leaders. Their services address a wide range of communicative needs, ranging from overcoming the fear of speaking in front of others to using the latest technology in presentations or rehearsing for interviews.
