Terri Iler
Assistant Director
Terri graduated Summa Cum Laude from CSULB with Bachelor of Arts degrees in English Education and Italian Studies. She was awarded the Outstanding Baccalaureate Award for the College of Liberal Arts, due in part to her work as a student assistant and peer advisor at the CSULB University Center for Undergraduate Advising (UCUA). It was her three years of undergraduate work at the Center that ultimately led to her future career as a professional advisor.
In February 2009, she joined the Destination Graduation Project at UCUA. An intensive and preemptive advising undertaking, the Project sought to raise the six-year graduation rates of native CSULB students. Through her work with student cohorts, she gained the needed experience to transition her advising efforts to the University Honors Program and its population of approximately 450 students. Terri has been with the Program since July 2010 and truly enjoys being an integral contributor to the growth and development of its community.
