Office of Research & Sponsored Programs

Under the leadership of the Associate Vice President for Research and External Support, the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs provides vision and support for the research, scholarly, and creative activities of CSULB faculty, students, and staff.  

The office:

  • Offers up-to-date information on grant and contract opportunities,
  • Provides professional grant proposal preparation assistance,
  • Pre-award clearance for grant and contract proposals, and
  • Ensures that grant proposals, budgets, and contracts comply with federal, sponsor, foundation, and university guidelines.
