At CSU Long Beach it is possible to adopt certain species of animals which are healthy and no longer needed in the research projects. Researchers wishing to have animals adopted must understand that this may present a public relations problem in certain situations. Adoptions are approved only to households that are able to assure that responsible husbandry will be maintained.
