• CSULB Cesar E. Chavez Celebration

University Student Union Southwest Terrace

Organized by the United Migrant Student Association, the event remembers and honors Chavez’ civil rights work. Educational Opportunity Program Director Andy Espinoza will speak at the event and there will be Aztec and Folkloric dance performances. Light refreshments will be available. • Nomination Deadline for Provost’s Research, Scholarly and Creative Activity Awards
  Tuesday, March 30
  
  Two award recipients will receive $500. Awards will be presented at the All University Celebration of Research, Scholarly and Creative Activity (RSCA), which is being held together with the University Achievement Awards on Wednesday, May 5, 2010.

• International Projects Award Program – Call for Proposals
Deadline: Monday, April 12

Faculty and staff members are invited to submit funding proposals for internationally related projects. The Division of Academic Affairs has allocated a total of $5,000 for the program. The deadline for submissions is Monday, April 12. Additional information and the proposal form.
