There are still opportunities to make charitable donations this holiday season. The following drives are among those currently underway on campus.
The College of Education is assisting Los Alamitos High School’s Invisible Children Club with a book drive through December 17. CSULB students, faculty and staff are invited to donate books in good condition. Donated books will be sold to raise money for the Schools for Schools program, which helps rebuild schools in war torn regions of northern Uganda.
All types of books are welcome, especially textbooks. Books can be dropped off at the Education Psychology Clinic, ED2-155 at the following times:

Two staff members in Staff Human Resources are collecting pet supplies for needy families with pets.
Dog and cat food, treats and toys that are collected by Friday, December 18 will be donated to a Long Beach shelter that serves needy families. For more information, contact Karol Valdez, (562) 985-8259 or Lisa Hernandez at (562) 985-2227.
