It has been an honor and a great privilege to serve as your provost. Regrettably, our time together has been shorter than I would have liked. However, I am excited about the incredible opportunity to lead and engage Brooklyn College in the years ahead.
I deeply appreciate the opportunity I have had to work with President Alexander, his outstanding leadership team, and all of the wonderful faculty, staff, and students at this remarkable university. I have learned so much from this special place and from the people who continue to make CSULB such a dynamic and inclusive university. I will cherish the friendships made and the inspiring work we have done together.
Although this university and the CSU are facing tremendous challenges, I am certain that the remarkable sense of common purpose at CSULB will prevail. I am confident as well that Interim Provost Don Para will provide the thoughtful and responsive leadership needed at this time.
It has been a joy to support, applaud, and promote your many contributions to the academic life of the campus.
