ITSS Offers Help in Creating Accessible Instructional Materials

In order to provide the most effective learning environment for students and to ensure California State University, Long Beach complies with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Instructional Technology Support Services (ITSS) is offering a number of resources to help faculty and staff create electronic documents that are accessible to people with disabilities.  

The following step by step guidelines and closed captioned videos focus on creating accessible documents for BeachBoard and Web sites:

ITSS also offers a link for Alternative Instructional Material Requests as well as accessibility resources from the CSU and other universities.  In addition, Media Services has released a new video series called "Techs in the City" focusing on how to use Contribute.
