The Office of University Research and the Faculty Center for Professional Development will co-host the next Scholarly Writing Institute (SWI) in the Anatol Center June 3-5.
The SWI has been a successful event held twice a year to create a productive environment for scholarly writing projects including books, professional journal papers, grant proposals and more. Food, a comfortable writing space, enthusiastic colleagues, as well as editorial and statistical assistance are provided. Faculty who have attended the event said the institute has been very valuable.
“The time and space to write; the opportunity to get suggestions on my writing,” was one comment from a participant who attended the last institute in January. “Thank you for providing a wonderful environment. Our paper was completed 98 percent,” another participate wrote after the institute. Another said “This is a great resource, and I hope that the frequency can be increased.”
Register now. Only 40 participants will be admitted. If you have questions, please e-mail Robin Moore in the Office of University Research.
