University College and Extension Services’ (UCES) Center for International Trade and Transportation (CITT) is reaching out to alumni, international trade and transportation professionals, and community members interested in the industry with regular podcasts this spring.
ContainerCast is a seven-minute podcast that will cover the latest issues and industry trends within International Trade & Transportation. Podcasts will include updates on CITT, interviews with industry leaders, discussion about CITT Director of Research Tom O’Brien’s monthly Long Beach Business Journal column and news from the METRANS Transportation Center, CITT's partner institution, which is dedicated to solving metropolitan transportation problems through research, education and outreach.
Designed for researchers, industry professionals, alumni of both the Global Logistics Specialist and Master of Arts in Global Logistics programs, local elected officials, and interested community members, ContainerCast will be available on the Web via RSS subscription every two weeks beginning in May.
In addition to ContainerCast, CITT is launching a new Web site in May that will feature a blog on the latest issues in trade and transportation.
