California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) has more than doubled the number of Study Abroad programs available this summer and is making it easier than ever for anyone in the community to participate. A total of 30 Study Abroad programs are available, with half of them of them open to community members, staff or students in any major.
Because courses are being offered through University College and Extension Services (UCES) this summer, participants do not need to be registered CSULB students to enroll. With faculty permission, anyone can sign up for a Study Abroad course through open enrollment. As a result, the Center for International Education, which oversees the Study Abroad Program, expects to see an increase in the number of students participating.
Classes range from Introduction to Contemporary Europe in Italy, to Geography 301i: The Urban Scene in Russia and last between one and six weeks. For more information, including a complete list of courses, visit Study Abroad.
